Truth About Sports Nutrition Tribulus

Sports Nutrition Tribulus is a very unusual plant with a lot of cool effects. However, there is such a nutrition nuance in this supplement that often misleads people.

We are talking about screaming words on the labels that Tribulus effectively increases testosterone levels. So here’s the caveat: Tribulus does not directly affect testosterone production – it does so indirectly.

So why are marketers of various brands promising testosterone boosts? Deception or Marketing, let’s figure it out!

Specificity of Tribulus

Tribulus does not increase testosterone itself, but the level of luteinizing hormone (LH, or lutropin), which in turn stimulates the production of testosterone and enhances its work.

To do this, LH activates the cells of the male testicles, which produce the bulk of testosterone. LH itself is produced by the pituitary gland (the lower brain appendage that produces hormones responsible for growth, metabolism, and reproductive function), and it, in turn, is controlled by the hypothalamus (a subcortical structure in the center of the brain). It is the hypothalamus that responds to a signal about a low level of testosterone in the blood and gives the command to produce LH.

Thus, the luteinizing hormone is an important link in the production of testosterone. Here Tribulus activates this entire most important chain: “Hypothalamus-Pituitary Gland-LH-Testicles-Testosterone.”

What is Tribulus for?

  • Tribulus increases luteinizing hormone which affects testosterone.
  • LH improves sperm quality, increasing the chances of successful conception.

There is another nuance – this time in the application scheme:

Regardless of training, take Tribulus several times a day every 10-11 hours – this is the time the substance is eliminated from the body, and you can take it again.

Recommended use:

  1. Tribulus must contain at least 90% saponins.
